Fertilizer Support Associate - Clinton, NC

This position is full-time Monday through Friday.  During peak seasons, extended hours may be required. Fertilizer Support Associates prepare agricultural product to be delivered to the customers’ fields; transfer product to the applicator equipment or trailers; handle equipment and operate controls.

Duties of the Fertilizer Support Associate include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with unloading, loading and blending liquid and dry fertilizer.
  • Assist with facility and equipment upkeep and maintenance.
  • Must be able to climb up into a vehicle with vertical steps several times per day, as well as exit the vehicle and re-enter several times per day.
  • Must have the ability to safely operate and control different kinds of heavy equipment, including very large off-road vehicles and industrial scale equipment, including loaders.
  • Must have the ability to use gears, pedals, and steering mechanisms simultaneously.
  • Must have the ability to move switches, pull levers, turn knobs and wheels to activate and regulate mechanisms.
  • Must have the ability to sit for long periods of time and have the ability to stand for long periods of time, according to the work at hand.
  • Requires physical labor including pulling, pushing and lifting.
  • Requires the ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds repeatedly.
  • Must have well developed manual dexterity and arm-hand steadiness.
  • Must have the ability to work in a noisy, vibrating cab during very cold and very hot conditions.
  • Must have the ability to operate the vehicle or equipment off road on uneven and rugged terrain for long distances.
  • Must have the ability to work additional hours during peak seasons to meet business demands.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment for self and others.
  • Must be able to perform any other duties or functions as assigned by supervisor.

Shipping and Receiving Clerk - Clinton, NC

This position is full-time Monday through Friday.  During peak seasons, extended hours may be required.  

Duties of the Shipping and Receiving Clerk include but are not limited to:

  • Load and unload freight
  • Complete all documents related to shipping and/or receiving tasks assigned
  • Select and pull orders for shipment for our various locations accurately
  • Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform pre-operational check of pallet jacks or forklifts according to company policy
  • Operate scanning equipment to properly place or select items
  • Follow good sanitation practices; keep work area clean and free of debris
  • Requires heavy to very heavy physical labor including pulling, pushing and lifting
  • Must have the ability to work additional hours during peak seasons to meet business demands

This position is full-time Monday through Friday.  During peak seasons, extended hours may be required.

Spreader Equipment Operators prepare and spread custom application of agricultural product for the customers’ fields; transfer product to the applicator equipment; handle, lift and load equipment; and operate controls.

Duties of the Spreader Equipment Operator include but are not limited to:

  • Must be able to climb up into a vehicle with vertical steps multiple times per day, as well as exit the vehicle and re-enter over 15 times per day.
  • Must be able to climb up and down a step vertical ladder, in order to look over into fertilizer box.
  • Must have the ability to safely operate and control different kinds of heavy equipment, including very large off- road vehicles and industrial scale equipment, including loaders.  
  • Must have the ability to use gears, pedals, and steering mechanisms simultaneously.
  • Must have the ability to move switches, pull levers, turn knobs and wheels to activate and regulate mechanisms.
  • Must have the ability to sit for long periods of time and have the ability to stand for long periods of time, according to the work at hand.
