Recently in our service areas, tobacco is anywhere from being too wet to too dry, and everywhere in between.
In any situation, the addition of Matrixx will improve the performance of your tobacco sucker control application. Matrixx is a wetter/spreader/penetrant that provides rapid, uniform spray coverage on leaf surfaces.
For tobacco that has been too wet and is now growing extremely fast, Matrixx will improve sucker control on larger suckers. By improving run-down and coverage, the larger suckers are contacted more evenly and thoroughly thus improving chances of control.
For tobacco that has been too dry, the top of the plant is very tight, and Matrixx will improve contact with the upper, hard to reach suckers. On average, Matrixx will improve sucker control in the top part of the plant by 1.8 stalk positions.
